For decades, the motto of Vibro-Acoustics was “Helping to make the world a quieter place” through our various products and services. We were actively engaged in the local market with taking acoustical measurements to determine appropriate solutions to address noise problems – both before and after noise control products were installed. We currently work with acoustical consultants who perform initial site investigations and noise level documentation, but should problems ever arise with products we have supplied our customers, we should be ready and able to perform those measurements ourselves and work with our customers to resolve them. Now, we need to be ready to help people feel good inside.
This session is meant to be understood by those attending who may not have any prior knowledge or experience in the subject. It will also provide useful information for those who may want to engage further and attain firsthand knowledge of performing such measurements. At the very least, everyone attending should gain a better understanding of how and why acoustical measurements are made, which can help us better understand one of our primary customers – acoustical consultants – allowing us to better understand their world and giving us opportunities for customer empathy.
